Formerly Royal London Private Equity, RJD Partners was founded in 2001 and is majority-owned and controlled by the executive directors. Royal London Mutual Insurance Society, the UK’s second largest mutual insurance society retains a small minority shareholding.
RJD backs entrepreneurial management teams to achieve the strategic ambitions and the full potential of their businesses.
RJD currently invests capital from two third party funds. These funds are managed by RJD on a fully independent basis and have been raised from various financial institutions and high net worth individuals.
RJD invests in opportunities in the UK service and leisure sector in the £10 million to £75 million range. Sector preferences are:
