We appreciate that selling all or part of your business will be the culmination of many months, years and sometimes even a lifetime of effort. For many business owners and management teams the process of selling a business and the factors that determine success from failure will be unfamiliar. This lack of familiarity makes it difficult to identify what a buyer or equity investor is likely to want to see in a Management Team and the value they will place on it.

Understanding the skills and experience that different sorts of investors look for in the management team and the other factors that make the business a really attractive investment proposition only comes with extensive deal experience. This is not something that even the most experienced management teams have. Consequently they are usually ill prepared and unsure of how to use limited time and resources to best effect.
