The Quinn Partnership, the Private equity and Investment market management due diligence provider has advised Inflexion on their acquisition of SMD, a designer and manufacturer of subsea vehicle systems.
Newcastle based SMD is one of the world’s leading subsea engineering companies specialising in the design and manufacture of remotely operated vehicle systems. Employing 135 members of staff, SMD has won some major contracts in the area of subsea exploration and mining.
