The Quinn Partnership has supported Zeus Private Equity in their funding of the management buyout of Air Energi, a growing global business which recruits key people for oil and gas companies worldwide.
Zeus has backed the company with an investment of £10 million, working alongside Barclay’s Bank. The deal values Air Energi at £30 million.
The company operating from Manchester has over 120 employees has offices in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Australasia and Asia Pacific and the former Soviet Union and specialise in supplying engineering staff and technical specialists and provide support for its contractors, including helping them arrange accommodation, transport, work permits and visas. Amongst their clients are fuel giants ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips and Shell.
With the financial backing in place, Air Energi now looks forward to continued success and growth in the international energy markets.
Zeus’ Managing Partner, Gary Tipper and Partner Ed Fazakerley will join the company’s board upon completion of the transaction.
