Quinn Supports Inflexion’s latest catch – Fish Insurance

The Quinn Partnership, Management Due Diligence specialists have supported Inflexion Private Equity in their secondary buyout of Fish Insurance, provider of cover for elderly disabled people, for an undisclosed sum.

Preston-based, Fish was founded in 1975 by Mike Fish and is currently headed by Chief Executive Elissa Foster. As one of the UK’s leading providers of Independent Living and disability insurance, they employ over 25 staff with more than 65,000 policyholders. As well as standard cover, Fish writes policies for mobility aids such as motorised wheelchairs and stairlifts and offers employers' liability cover for people who pay carers under the government's Direct Payment Scheme.

Inflexion now own a majority stake from previous owner private equity firm Mosaic, who will retain a minority stake. Inflexion's investment director Catherine Richards and Partner Tim Smallbone will join the board as they move forward, providing funding for future growth.
