Management Due Diligence specialists, The Quinn Partnership, has advised Palatine Private Equity on it’s secondary buyout of the WHP Group, the provider of mobile infrastructure support services. The deal for the business, which employs more than 275 staff, provides an exit for Key Capital Partners.

Since the original KCP – backed buyout in 2013, WHP has grown significantly with turnover up from £17m to almost £30m. The £16m investment from Palatine and funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland corporate transactions team should enable WHP to invest further in its workforce, develop its service offering and accelerate growth.

Palatine partner Andy Lees and investment manager James Winterbottom will join the board of the company as non-executive directors.
